01 The brief

Each tournament brings together professional players, coaches, agents, officials, media teams, sponsors, guests and event staff. Every group has different registration details, documentation and access requirements. ENH was appointed to develop a digital platform that could manage this process in one place. The system has since been reconfigured and supported across nine tournament editions.

About Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships

The Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships is a major event on the UAE sporting calendar and a recognised stop on the international WTA and ATP tours.

02 The challenge

Tournament registration involves far more than collecting names and contact information.

Players and their teams may need visa, hotel and airport-transfer arrangements. Media representatives, sponsors, officials, guests and event staff require different forms, approvals and access permissions.

Every application must be reviewed before accreditation is issued. Approved individuals then need badges that clearly show where they are allowed to go within the venue.

The platform also operates during a short and demanding event cycle. Categories, questions, approval rules and access zones can change with every tournament edition. The system must be prepared, tested and supported without disrupting registration or on-site accreditation work.

Sensitive personal and passport information also needs to be processed carefully and archived correctly after each tournament.

  1. 01 / 06

Built One Registration Portal for Every Participant Group

We developed a central portal for players, coaches, agents, officials, media, sponsors and guests.

Each participant group receives a registration journey suited to its requirements. Information connected to visas, accommodation and airport transfers can also be collected through the same system when needed.

This gives the tournament team one structured source of participant information instead of several disconnected forms and records.

  2. 02 / 06

Created a Verification and Approval Workflow

Applications move through a defined review and approval process before accreditation is issued. The system helps the tournament team check submitted details, confirm eligibility and manage the status of each applicant. This creates a clear record of registrations that are pending, approved or require further information.

  3. 03 / 06

    Connected Accreditation With Badge Printing

Approved participants are assigned colour-coded access zones according to their tournament role.

QR-coded badges are generated through the platform, with one-click print packs prepared for badge production. This helps the accreditation team move efficiently from approval to physical access credentials.

  4. 04 / 06

Reconfigured the Platform for Every Tournament

The platform was originally developed for the first tournament and has been adapted for every edition since.

New participant categories, form fields, event rules, approval steps and access requirements are added according to the needs of each tournament. Existing parts of the system are updated and tested before registration opens.

  5. 05 / 06

Provided Full-Time Support During the Event Cycle

Each tournament receives three to four months of full-time support covering platform preparation, registration, approvals and badge printing. The support continues through the high-pressure period when participant numbers increase and the accreditation team needs quick technical assistance.

In alternate years, ENH also delivers a separate invitation and mailing system for players, sponsors and partners attending a golf championship.

  6. 06 / 06

    Managed Tournament Data Carefully

Personal, passport and travel information is handled through controlled workflows within the platform.

Tournament records are organised throughout the event cycle and archived after the tournament closes, giving the organisers a structured record of each edition.

One Connected Accreditation Process

The tournament team can manage registration, document collection, application review, access permissions and badge printing through one platform.

Approved applications move into a structured accreditation process, with colour-coded access zones and QR-coded badges prepared for printing. This gives the organisers a clear path from a submitted registration to a verified physical credential.

A Platform Ready for Every Edition

The system can be reconfigured around the requirements of each tournament. Participant categories, form fields, approval stages, event rules and access permissions can be adjusted without rebuilding the platform from the beginning.

This gives every edition a proven technical foundation while allowing the registration process to reflect current operational requirements.
